Perfectly located at the heart of some of the biggest ski areas in the world, our chalets are based in Sainte Foy. That places you in a beautiful village with its own deceptively large ski area, quiet and exclusive with queuing very rare. It is the ‘jewel in the crown’ of the Isère valley/Tarentaise area. The pistes are quiet and the off-piste area is enormous.
However, only a few minutes drive away, you can access all these other world class ski resorts, ensuring virtually guaranteed skiing throughout the season…
Val D’Isère (Espace Killy) – The centre of Val d’Isere itself can be reached from the Venture Ski chalets in only 20 minutes.
Tignes (Espace Killy) – The base station of Tignes Les Brevières can be reached from the Venture Ski chalets in only 15 minutes.
The Espace Killy is big, really big. You’re going to need a lot of staying power! Formed by the joining of Tignes and Val d’Isère’s immense ski areas, the Espace Killy is one of the most beautiful ski areas in the world. The following figures speak for themselves! The Espace Killy is.. 96 ski lifts: 2 funiculars, 4 cabin lifts, 4 cable cars, 45 chairlifts, 41 drag lifts – 10,000 hectares and 300 kilometres of ski trails – 137 ski runs: 22 green, 64 blue, 35 red, 16 black – 9 slalom stadiums and 2 mogul stadiums – 2 half-pipes and 2 snow parks – 331 snow canons.
Les Arcs (Paradiski) – the base station of Villaroger can be accessed from the Venture Ski chalets in under 15 minutes
La Plagne (Paradiski) – accessed from the Venture Ski chalets in 30 minutes
Set spectacularly high in the Arc mountains, Les Arcs is a wonderful modern resort with inspiring skiing. It boasts an amazing snow record and has excellent skiing for all abilities. The variety of skiing is huge from steep blacks to wide open cruising runs. Since December 2003 the Paradiski cable-car opened, linking Les Arcs with La Plagne to form one of the largest ski areas in the world (over 425km of piste skiing!).

A short drive from the Venture Ski chalets along a stunning winding mountain road La Rosière is the only resort in Savoie which offers an international skiing area thanks to the link by ski lifts with La Thuile, in the Val d’Aosta Valley in Italy. A perfect balance between easy and more technical runs, always wide, long downhill slopes in the forest, a snowpark and many off-piste possibilities or the magic of heli-skiing…
