TERMS AND CONDITIONS 2010 - 2011

PAYMENTS & CONFIRMATION
To make a booking, you must fill in the booking form and send it to us with the appropriate payment. For bookings made more than eight (8) weeks before departure, a deposit of £200 per person per booking is required.

You will then be notified by post of the balance owing and this is due at least eight (8) weeks before departure. For bookings made within eight weeks of departure, the full amount is payable to confirm your booking.

For all our accommodation, a security bond of £500 by way of a cleared UK cheque is required prior to arrival at the chalet/apartment and will be refunded on departure if no damage has occurred. The client signing the booking form shall be liable for full payment for all those clients to whom the booking form applies and for any other person subsequently added to the booking. Payment must be made by cheque only, made payable to “sainte-foy-chalet.com”. A contract between sainte-foy-chalet.com and a client will only exist once we have confirmed the booking in writing and the client’s initial cheque has been cleared.

ALTERATION OF A HOLIDAY BY THE CLIENT
Amendments or alterations to a booking must be made in writing to sainte-foy-chalet.com or the relevant agent, from the person who signed the booking form originally. You will be advised of any changes in costs that might occur as a result.

ALTERATION OF A HOLIDAY BY SAINTE-FOY-CHALET.COM
Should an alteration to any holiday for which a booking has been made become necessary, the client shall be informed promptly. The client shall be offered the choice of accepting the alteration, or a full refund of moneys paid, as long as the client has not yet arrived at the chalet/apartment.

CANCELLATION OF A HOLIDAY BY SAINTE-FOY-CHALET.COM
We will only cancel your holiday (a) if forced to do so by unforeseeable circumstances or (b) because of non-payment by the client. In the case of (a), sainte-foy-chalet.com shall not be responsible for compensation to clients for holidays cancelled at any time due to circumstances beyond sainte-foy-chalet.com control i.e. threat of war, natural/technical disasters, acts of terrorism or similar events. sainte-foy-chalet.com shall have no responsibility or legal liability to compensate the client for loss of opportunity to take the holiday.

CANCELLATION OF HOLIDAY BY THE CLIENT
A cancellation by a client will only be confirmed once it has been received in writing by sainte-foy-chalet.com. Clients are advised to send cancellations by recorded delivery to 15 Wavendon Road, Salford, Buckinghamshire, England, MK17 8BB. If cancellation is made and received more than eight (8) weeks before departure, the deposit will be forfeited. If cancellation is made after full payment has been made and more than 6 weeks before departure, a refund of 50% will be made. No refunds can be made for any cancellations made & received less than 6 weeks prior to departure. We recommend that you ensure your insurance policy covers you against irrecoverable cancellation costs.

PERSONAL INJURY
sainte-foy-chalet.com accepts responsibility for negligence of its agents or employees causing direct physical injury to clients only to the extent that it is obliged to do so by law. sainte-foy-chalet.com cannot be held responsible for any other mishap to yourself or your property and in particular for the consequences of the effect of strikes, wars, acts of terrorism, riots, robbery, sickness, quarantine, government intervention or other such happenings. We strongly advise that you take out appropriate insurance at the time of booking.

LIABILITY OF THE CLIENT
All clients undertake to behave with propriety and in such a manner as to cause no damage, distress, danger or annoyance to other clients, property and/or any third party. The contract of any client in breach of this clause shall be terminated immediately and sainte-foy-chalet.com shall have no further contractual obligations. We reserve the right to recover from the client the cost of any repairs or replacements following any damage caused by the client. In circumstances reasonably deemed by sainte-foy-chalet.com to be extreme, including significant damage, significant antisocial behaviour or illegal activities sainte-foy-chalet.com reserves the right to cancel the holiday forthwith and eject the client from our properties without compensation.

LIABILITY OF SAINTE-FOY-CHALET.COM
sainte-foy-chalet.com accepts no responsibility for the actions of any of its clients and shall not be held liable for any claims made against them (or as a result of their actions) either by other clients or third parties.

If difficulty arises during your holiday you should advise a member of sainte-foy-chalet.com staff who will endeavour to resolve the difficulty. Should this not be possible complaints should be addressed to 15 Wavendon Road, Salford, Buckinghamshire, England, MK17 8BB not later than 21 days from end of holiday. No liability can be accepted for any complaint not advised timorously in writing to sainte-foy-chalet.com.
